One-Night Stay: Yala Safari & Cultural Adventure
- 12:30 PM – Arrive at Funky Leopard Safari Lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch.
- 2:30 PM – Head out for an evening Yala Safari in Yala National Park, exploring its diverse wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and exotic birds.
- 5:30 AM (Day 2) – Instead of a morning Yala Safari, embark on a Guided Cultural Safari:
- Visit the sacred Kataragama Temple and take part in the morning pooja.
- Hike to the top of Wedasity Kanda, a sacred mountain offering stunning sunrise views.
- 11:00 AM – Return to the lodge and continue your journey.
Two-Night Stay: The Ultimate Yala National Park & Cultural Safari Experience
Day 1:
- 12:30 PM – Arrive and have lunch at Funky Leopard Safari Lodge.
- 2:30 PM – Depart for an exciting evening Yala Safari in Yala National Park.
Day 2:
- 5:30 AM – Instead of another Yala Safari, embark on a Wildlife & Cultural Safari to the historic Sithulpawwa Temple. Explore the ancient monastery, hike to a scenic viewpoint, and experience the spiritual significance of the area. Return to the lodge by noon for lunch and relaxation.
- 3:30 PM – Climb the majestic Wedasity Kanda, witnessing a breathtaking sunset.
- 7:00 PM – Visit Kataragama Temple for the evening pooja. Return to the lodge for dinner and a well-earned rest.

This is an amazing place in yala, 4min from Katharagama. Really calm and peaceful place to stay. Management is really helpful Lakmal gave us a good customer service. Deva,Keerthi gave us a comfortable service while we stayed. Veemansa show us Yala and helped to get a meaningful safari experience. Driver Kasun is a very careful driver and also friendly person. Staff helped us a lot and most important thing is this place is really clean and tidy. Thanx again to Lakmali for gave us a good time. Hoping to come back next year too.
